Suzanne Hunt

The killer is played by John Billingsley who happens to be married to General Beckham from Chuck in real life! He has had 167 roles so he has been in many things you might have seen him in! I wasn't a big fan of this episode when I first saw it as a filler episode. The reveal of the guy being Linda's ex-husband was a surprise to me! I have to say I have grown to think it very interesting the more I see it! Wonderful reaction as always, Stephanie!

I love this episode. I thought it was very cleverly done and the reveal was bit by bit so that we could surmise and work out what was happening and the time line of it. I enjoyed learning more about how Hell worked in that we were actually given access to a Hell loop, as well as realising how mortals send themselves due to guilt and Lucifer (as he has said before never has made any mortal do anything, ever! ) It was interesting to me to see the free choice trope reinforced and I also really enjoyed finding out more about Linda's back story. I wondered if her obvious problems in the relationship with her husband might have led her into Therapy and that role in her life. After all, she was just there in the beginning as a therapist and we didn't know anything about who she really was, what had happened in her life etc. I like that we are finding out more, fleshing out the characters, as it were. It was interesting to think how long ago someone was investigating the truth about celestials on earth and yet was unable to prove and reveal it. I always wondered why despite Luci's honesty about who he really is we hadn't until this episode seen anyone actually digging more into the story rather than just dismissing him as an eccentric who speaks in metaphors. I also loved how Linda told Reece that Luci was her friend and the look on Luci's face when he heard that, was lovely. This episode is one of the reasons I love season three so much as sometimes without us even directly asking we get answers to some of our questions as the writers have the luxury (in a long season) of exploring more into the mythology and characters. Like Suzanne Hunt, I find more in this episode every time I rewatch and like it even more.
