Bella Ramsey! My lord, what a great performance. The actor who played James (buddy boy) is the original voice actor for Joel in the game, btw. So, in a way. Ellie killed Joel this episode :(. Also, the person they were eating (when they said venison) was the little girl's dad. You could also see David smiling at her as she was eating her own father. Truly sick. This episode follows the game really closely. It even still makes you believe that Joel will show up to save Ellie. But Ellie doesn't need saving. She literally go out all on her own, and I love that. Joel was there to save her emotionally though, which always brings me to tears. Superb and traumatizing episode.
