Agree! Especially about the flash stuff. I think that after X men Days of future past and that iconic quicksilver slow-mo scene, a lot of movies have tried mimicking that and they overdo it.

As far as Superman's black suit, in the comics Superman wore a recovery suit that was black with silver trim after he "died" fighting Doomsday. The black recovery suit provided him with more protection and enhanced his solar abosorbtion to speed up his recovery. Obviously he didn't need a recovery suit in this movie since he pretty much had all his powers immediately after being resurrected so I'm guessing they just wanted to do a nod to the comics with a black suit.
