Justin Hartley directed this episode! Great job for his first and only crack at it on Smallville. Really great job with the action. The Kandorian's sent clone Zod to the phantom zone where he merged with the real Zod from season 6 who was still a phantom without his body. Getting Callum back as the one true Zod was great and his last moment was a homage to Superman the Movie. Orion in the comics is actually Darkseid's blood son who was turned good by his adopted father and opposed Darkseid and was destined to be the only person who could defeat him. So just a little homage there and going into the penultimate. Once again I have to say that I love how Lois and Clark actually talk to each other. Healthiest relationship since Jonathan and Martha lol. You can actually see them becoming the Kent's in those small ways. Can't believe you're almost done. I can't wait to see you react to the finale but I'm sad the journey is ending lol.
