The best thing about this episode is Lois being integrated into Clark's superhero world. I like that the writers took a little bit of time to key in on the difference between being a boyfriend/girlfriend and being a partner. And I love how Lois and Clark talk about their issues maturely. The casting for Slade Wilson was a rare miscast for Smallville imo. He's way older than he's usually portrayed in comics and other media. And he's never a general. Based on this portrayal I think General Wade Eiling would have been a better choice for this arc. I concur on Clark's line "I am man, and steel." Not only was it badass but here we see that Clark can handle a certain level of kryptonite. It's great to have him move past being completely immobilized by a shard of kryptonite lol. The next episode is definitely the best episode since Homecoming! Can't wait for the reaction!
