Judge Heath here, and it's time to announce a change in staff.

Fuzzamorous and Spacedust are moving on to different projects, we wish them all the best, but they will be ending contract with cm at the beginning of this month.

In their place, Dieselbrain will be joining as our sole animator and you'll be able to see his work in the finalized versions of the Chimera! Fuzz will be remaining with us for an additional two weeks to show Diesel the ropes and help smooth the transition.

I'm confused as to whether this is a joke or not. I though an earlier post stated that Fuzz was leaving eventually for another job opportunity. I definitely don't remember them saying anything about space tho.

Also hoping this is a second April Fool's joke since the timing of the announcement would be awful otherwise, and Fuzz has only been on board for I think 1 or 2 animations so far, lol.

Fuzz has been on board WAY longer than that. You are thinking of Space. And for anyone interested, this isn't a joke. It's been in the works for a while. Space's true passion is full illustrations and not animation so it's only natural she'd want to get back to that, so Dieselbrain, someone who does animation on the reg, filling in the role completely makes perfect sense. I know not everyone catches the streams, but this info has been reiterated quite a few times.

The timing for this announcement literally couldn't have been worse. Scary to see the Patreon tank so much in one day. But yeah I goofed and wrote Fuzz when I meant SpaceDust, who was announced to be replacing him back at the very end of 2016. SpaceDust is the one who I think has only been on board for 1 or 2 animations, sorry for the confusion.

Nah, your good! But this drop happens every month so don't let it worry you. It's just patreon recalculating everyone's payments. Some people's payment takes time to go through which is why it drops at the start of each month. And some people leave/come on boraed/change pledges and all that. A few months ago the drop was like 2-3K for a bit until everything cuaght up.

Going to repost what I put in the post above: Actually while it's never publicly recovered from, if you look at our actual earnings (which are covered by a specific tag), you'll see that the only -loss- in funding we ever took was by about 500-900 dollars in the difference between January and February and we've already made that back up this month. Plenty of folks invest money, paying us up front, then drop back out. That's why we've begoun work on the website even though, openly, the patreon pledges have only briefly capped the amount necessary. We've made enough money to reach the website level pledge and began work on it a while back.

I saw some of Dieselbrain's animations, and they are really great! I'm sad that Fuzz and Space are leaving, but I wish them all the best, and I'm sure the CM animations are in good hands! :D
