Judge Heath here,

We're still figuring out all of the new features, but one you will notice is the featured tags. These tags are "Builds", "Free Access", "Development Cycle", "Art", and "Earnings". These will allow not only you guys, but any followers or prospective Patrons to quickly find the juicy things they need to find in order to find out what they want to find out about our game.

Our earnings for the month can be seen in the image above. This number is largely meaningless, as we'll be seeing far more accurate numbers on pledges and earnings at the end of each month following this. From now on I'll be posting it as the above picture, and occasionally one displaying our total declined amount pages (though that hasn't updated since July, for unknown reasons). We hope this gives you a clearer view of how we actually gather our data on our earnings and such, you're not getting a direct picture of how we can look at our progress, profit, and loss.

Key:

  • Green Bars = New/Increased Pledges
  • Red Bars = Deleted/Decreased Pledges
  • Blue Bars = Total Pledge Value

Well unlock some other certain people I honestly don't give a crap how much you make nor do i to any "famous" or popular person place or thing ( nouns XD ) I just care that you use these said funds to good use now if you need to every now and then need to use some to like order a pizza or pay a bill Im totally alright and cool lol I'm glad that it seems you have a good amount of funds to help support the project and now that you basically bared it all no other poor sap attempts to say that your not being trustful about how much you make and what you do with it. but most importantly it decrease the amount of people who sneak in for a free be and then attempt to sell it or give it away on other sites now don't get me wrong I gotten my fair share of games that way but most of them were either games that were free other wise, cancelled or me wanting to see if the game was worth it...and a lot of people actually do do that but that's mostly because developers really don't put a really strong Demo or Trial out there that really gets the needed hype and amazement to make someone want to help support or even bother playing the game. Because the current build could be 0.62 but then the Public Demo or Trial would be version 0.05 which is basically shit XD But despite that I do hope you lower those type of people pulling off those kinds of gigs but just try to keep both the Free version and paid button to par that way those that don't want to pay or aren't sure they want to pay are satisfied so they won't try to cheat or hack their way to the current payed build you know I mean your not a triple A game company with payed lawyers and advance cyber security if what you give doesn't please the possible consumer than your not going to get any fish to bit your line in the pool. In all honestly actually now that I think about it that's what happened to BS it was so extremely easy to find the current build on other websites that current paying patrons just decided to stop paying because they could be getting what little they were given for free from other sites. Again Hopefully this doesn't happen to you guys I'm on the look out so if you need any help finding "Leaked" versions of your current game ( which honestly I doubt I mean if I can find it you can too ) than just ring XD

I'm not entirely sure I understood what you wrote but I will do my best to respond to your concerns. We post how much we make because it's part of our transparency. It's not for just your benefit but all our backers and our future consumers because of what happened with Breeding Season. It also gives a good visual show of the health of the project. While it may seem like a lot of money to most people, S-Purple is still paying out of pocket for a few of us until we reach our later goals. The Patreon funds go straight to paying our team members, primarily Alniarez and Fuzzamorous. Heath can correct me on this and provide more insight. Even if we have changed the payment method, there will still be those out there that will still torrent the game. It's unavoidable. With that said, we're still only in the early stages of Alpha so it's not like anything is getting spoiled story wise. At the very least, this may get people's attention who would otherwise not known about our game and bring them our way. It's not in our best interest to bother with cease and desist letters or lock the code at this stage. Hopefully this answers some concerns? Let me know.

Lol don't worry there Paladin I tend to ramble off a lot so This is one major reason why I don't post things on the web but Basically the long and short of it I'm completely satisfied the beginning of my rant was just sarcasm like I said I can care less how much someone makes nor what they do with it just as long as work is getting done and so far Team Nimbus has done a good job in terms of progress and listening to it's backers. I do worry about the torrenters as it affects your paychecks but all in all just keep up the good work :p

I love the transparency that you guys are doing. Gives me alot of confidence in the project.
