I have been doing some other work this week, but it seems like the testers need more time to get back to me with feedback from the test version. I assume it's a mix of Easter and other IRL stuff getting in the way. Still, I'll leave chapter 6 accessible through the travel sphere, so the brave ones among you can try it out, if you want to.

A few (several) words of caution, though:

  • Save before you try the chapter and don't use the saves from it after! You might invalidate stuff and become unable to play the chapter when it fully releases. If you don't like the idea of replaying the chapter afterward, don't try this version;
  • Things are still subject to change;
  • The final battle in particular needs to be changed, and it also has some debug moves active for my own quick testing;
  • There shouldn't be major bugs, but it's possible for issues to be around, since I didn't get a full report yet;
  • The game doesn't have the ending slides, so while you get the full story of what happens during chapter 6, you don't get the "what happens in the future" part;
  • The game doesn't have the scene where chapter 6 starts, you get teleported straight into the demon world (the scene shouldn't be complicated, but it wasn't necessary until the chapter was complete, so I didn't write it yet). If you played to the end of chapter 5, it shouldn't be too confusing anyway.

If this didn't scare you away, you can access the test version of chapter 6 through the travel sphere. There is a blue demon to the south of the test room. Select "Test 1" to start the chapter. If you have any feedback and thoughts on the chapter, let me know, this is the best time to suggest changes and improvements. Note: the chapter has 2 different paths depending on whether or not you investigated all 3 secret Hanatora statues in the temples.

If you aren't interested in chapter 6, there are at least a few scenes you can see in the game. Here is the full changelog:

  • Chapter 6 alpha complete;
  • New scene for the weird pendant (as with the previous one, take a nap with the pendant on, while having accrued enough slut reputation);
  • New scene for the babydoll (you can pick it up from the wardrobe in your house in Tarkas, if you got the babydoll as a reward for "Noblesse Oblige");
  • New scene for Jin (nightly bell summon, 50% chance. Only happens if you didn't have sex with Jin at night before going to sleep).

Jin's scene is skippable if you want to, since there are no variations. I added it because one of the players mentioned the lack of night summons being weird, if you are on the sub route, and I thought it had some merit, but I added the skip option to make it less annoying going forward (if you have suggestions on how to handle the experience better, let me know). I might add maybe another variation, but I am not sure, I feel like there is plenty enough with Jin on this path, anyway.

This should be everything (sorry for being so long-winded). As always, thank you so much for the support (you have no idea just how much it means to me), and I hope you'll have fun with the release. ^_^

So I can't find the way to start chapter 6 in the travel sphere.

If you go south in the room, you should see a black sphere. Right next to it to the right there is a blue demon with red horns.

spoiler warning for those who dare not touch chapter 6 i guess? . . . . am i just mentally deficient, or is there no valid combo for the golem in chapter 6? I don't see any clue hinting what in the world the combo is meant to be, and i've tried all 24 combos that are possible. And if i screwed one up not willing to try them all again,. Am I just missing something which requires proper progression. Reading the book gives no clue that i can find, and failing the combo tells me to read the book. Can't descend from the tower chapter 6 either, so feels like i';m just stuck with an impossible puzzle. or am i just a mental midget? I did via location change item and visited 3./2 of the statues in two tries. Both 3/2 looks have the same results in term of Chapter 6 via test seemingly broken. didn't finish chapters properly.

Once you picked the potions, they are added to your key items in the inventory. There, you can read the description for each one, and the descriptions give you hints as to which element each potion represents. Let me know if you want me to be more specific and tell you the correct order.
