Pixar's Soul + Burrow Review (Patreon)

Yeah, We just watched the latest Pixar film Soul on Disany+, and here my review on it.

I really enjoy the movie it fun and funny film about living and life in general with all its ups and downs yeah it explores the afterlife or Pixar's take on it but that not what this movie really is about.  The messages that Pixar is trying to tell is one part following your dreams and your purpose in life and one part on what to do if the dream didn't turn out the way you want it but it doesn't mean you don't have a purpose in life. 

I don't want to go into the plot too much to avoid spoilers but there is a twist that happened about halfways in the movie and it very funny. the look of the movie is great kinda give you that "Inside Out" feel to it but is a good look to it.

The only complaint to it that it's a real shame that this film never got a theatrical release due to this pandemic but at the same time kind of ironic in a way a movie about a living life that comes out in THE worst year in history but in the end, I think this the type of movie we all need to come out to remind us that life is still worth living.

By the way, make sure you get a chance to watch the Pixar Sparkshorts Burrow one again it was a short film that supposes to come out with Soul as they're traditional short film before the main movie but 2020 happened, it a fun cute little short about a bunny rabbit trying to make the perfect Burrow (home) for herself but don't want help from her neighbors that it's beautifully 2D animated.
