Salutations, patrons! Because you demanded it (and he insisted) Stuart returns to our community podcast after taking last month off. Besides reading your comments on recent Retronauts episodes and your responses to the question we posed in April, Stuart and I also chat about Tears of the Kingdom (how could we not) but also share crucial thoughts on the Fast & Furious franchise and Stu reacts to one of your ideas with "bile and rage." Find out which one by clicking play!

Important note: you can watch the video Punchy made about the Left 4 Dead 2 arcade game right here and that Castlevania arcade game is now properly playable on Windows. Also a slew of retro news dropped after we recorded this so if we didn't mention a megaton announcement, that's probably why. And of course, don't miss the new community question which I drew directly from the Retronauts Discord!

Tall Rob

Glad my food analogy comment resonated enough with you to share it on the episode! Stuart's take on the chicken at Popeye's (or is it Pope? Yes!) is perfect for games that have one element that you absolutely love but others that are middling or lackluster. So, something like Silver Surfer for NES: the music is the chicken and the play control and hit detection are the sides. For Dragon's Lair, the graphics are the chicken and the gameplay is the sides, etc. For what it's worth, I stand 6-foot-6 (1.98 meters), so I hope that qualifies as tall enough for my nickname, ha!

Diamond lowkey roasted me reading my Toonstruck comment more than I’ve been roasted in at least 15 years, well done
