Hey folks,

Bob here with a quick announcement. I'm happy to say that after years of work, my Boss Fight Books volume on Day of the Tentacle is now available for pre-order in both physical and e-book versions via the Boss Fight Books: Season 6 Kickstarter campaign.

This handsome tome is a fully expanded and revised version of the Day of Tentacle oral history I wrote for USgamer (a website that no longer exists) back in 2016. Thanks to the great editors at Boss Fight Books, I was finally able to sit down and rework this project into what I always wanted it to be; and I'm very excited that it'll be coming out during 2023, the 30th anniversary year of Day of the Tentacle.

So please, if you'd like to support my very first book, head on over to the Boss Fight Books: Season 6 Kickstarter campaign page and pre-order your copy today. Thanks!

BOB! Congrats! I’m so excited this is part of the next series of Boss Fights Books! I remember you mentioning it being in the works on a few podcasts ages ago. Love the care and personal stories in their previous releases, and very much looking forward to reading yours. Day of the Tentacle is near and dear to my heart.

Nice, backed for a paperback! Now it makes sense why the LucasArts series hadn’t hit that game yet…

Is there a way to back just your book or did I miss that option?

The campaign already met its goal, so you're basically using the Kickstarter platform to pre-order the book. Once you select a tier you then choose the book/books you'd like. - Bob

Cool, I’ll order today. Never played day of the tentacle but I’ll always support what you and Jeremy are doing.

Done! I actually made a two book selection. Really interested in what there is to know about PaRappa as well. Looking forward to it!

Just backed the $120 tier! Will be great seeing what everyone brought to the table, though I still don't believe I'll have any fing idea what I'm doing in Day of the Tentacle though.

Yeah, much like Kohler's book on FFV, I don't expect that I'll learn anything new about the game itself, but I look forward to seeing what personal angle that Bob takes.
