This week's episode is one of those slightly recursive "documenting the process of documenting game history" episodes, but, hey... stick with what you know, right? I've been wanting to get Richard Moss and Evan Amos on the show for quite a while, since both of them have created some invaluable resources for anyone with an interest in the medium's history. And look, here they are together! At the same time! Talking about what it takes to put together a big ol' book about old video games.

For those curious about their work, you can pick up Evan's The Game Console 2.0 here and the new edition of Richard's The Secret History of Mac Gaming here (or you will be able to soon).

Loved this episode! Brought so many memories back. Great guests! I ordered Evan's book and Richard's is on my wishlist. I worked in Mac computer labs in college and even had an original iMac and the preview pages brought back SO many memories. I'm looking forward to hearing more about his upcoming shareware book, too.

Been rushing to catch up with Retronauts lately as I was so far behind. I have somewhat of an obsession with video game history books at the moment from the likes of ReadOnlyMemory, Bitmap Books and Geeks Line to name a few. This was one of my favourite episode so far and would really like to hear more along these lines. Great insight from everyone involved.
