We have a patron request this week for a game that is somehow more than eligible for discussion under our 10-year cutoff rule! How is that possible? Can it really be that old? Apparently so.

But it makes sense that this topic would have a slippery sense of placement in time: Radiant Historia was all about breaking the boundaries of linear time in order to rejigger history. Nadia leads this conversation as Jeremy, guest Anthony John Agnello, and Lifestream patron Lorenzo Hulzebos contemplate chronology. Art by John Pading and edits by Greg Leahy!

  • 07:10 - RADIANT HISTORIA (Title Theme)
  • 20:18 - Mechanical Kingdom
  • 31:50 - The Melody Connecting the World
  • 44:14 - To the Future that Awaits Ahead | The Edge of Green
  • 51:50 - Blue Radiance
  • 59:35 - Rebellion
  • 1:11:31 - An Earnest Desire of Grey (Perfect Chronology)
  • 1:20:16 - Where the Wind and Feathers Return (Perfect Chronology)
  • 1:26:55 - Forever Proud
  • Closing - HISTORIA (Staff Roll - Instrumental Version)

Always makes me smile when Nadia refers to Jeremy as just Parish as thought it were a nickname.

I bought this game years ago after I came across the battle theme on YouTube. Needless to say my random leap of faith was rewarded. A top tier DS RPG for sure, there is really nothing else like it.
