Hi everyone, sorry this is a little bit late! I wasn't slacking — quite the contrary. This is the single most intricate episode of Retronauts I've ever put together, featuring a ton of edits. Normally it takes about three hours to edit an episode of the show; this one took about 10. I've been plugging away at it since Friday....

Hopefully, you'll agree it was worth the effort and the wait! This episode concerns the music of Nobuo Uematsu, and it features plenty of said music. Since this took so long to create and I'm running so far behind, I haven't had a chance to give the finished product a test listen yet... so I apologize for any weirdness you might stumble across. I do not, however, apologize for any excellent music you encounter. That was by design!

Episode description: Jeremy and Bob spend a couple of hours musing about music with Chris Kohler and Kat Bailey. Specifically, the music of Nobuo Uematsu. Stay a while and listen! No, wait, wrong RPG series.

Podcasts need to be compact. I reduce them to mono because a mono podcast at a decent sample frequency sounds a lot better than a stereo podcast at a low sample frequency.

Not gonna lie I was pretty disappointed when you skipped my favorite final fantasy III to go to my least favorite IV

Great episode! Got me thinking how the Final Fantasy franchise lost it's appeal and magic the same time Uematsu left.
