Great Scott! It's time to go back in time 35 years to revisit a classic movie that went back in time 30 years and forever changed the way we think about time travel throughout all forms of media. On our latest Patreon-exclusive episode, we shine the Retronauts spotlight on Back to the Future, a simple sci-fi comedy that unwittingly became a blockbuster trilogy and—unlike some franchises—has mostly maintained its dignity over the passing decades. Henry Gilbert joins us as we discuss this 1985 classic in full, and explore the incredibly awful games it inspired (including some you might not have heard of), as well as the much better games it indirectly inspired. You know that new podcast you're looking for? Well, listen to this!

Great episode! Really enjoyed the movie talk and how it literally changed the future through influences in gaming and movies. Great chemistry of the hosts help too. Thanks!

I love the movie podcasts. Maybe Bob can go down that route with some Retronauts cartoon series podcasts a la what Jeremy and the East crew are doing with the film series? Besides major TV/game tie-ins like TMNT, the Simpsons, and X-Men, perhaps we can explore Transformers or Gijoe. Or go the other way and play with the idea of game-inspired tube media like the Super Mario Super Show, Captain N, and Sonic.
