And so—after incredible pressure from fans over the past 20 years—here we are. Well, I haven’t played Kingdom Hearts and ... somebody? said that they wouldn’t deviate too much from the original plot, so count me in the cautiously optimistic column. We’ll know for sure in 2025, I guess.

Although when trying to describe the ending to my girlfriend, the only word that came to mind was "convoluted". The fights were cool though, so there’s that.

Finally listened to this after completing the game- great analysis all round. Can't fault the remake for attention to detail- particularly love how Johnny's parents are based on the generic NPC models they had in the original.
