With apologies for the mild tardiness, early access for the next episode of Retronauts is here at last. It's still early access, just LESS early. Sorry about that. I decided to follow up on last week's episode by looking at the historical significance of one of Rare's more forgotten creations, Wizards & Warriors for NES. It's possible I went a little overboard on the referentialism in the artwork, though, trying to nod to the Ironsword cover AND ape Katsuya Terada's Nintendo Power coloring techniques. So it goes! Again, apologies for the slight lateness and for the somewhat hollow sound of the recording — I'm still fine-tuning my home studio setup, and haven't quite found an arrangement that suits my audio recording needs. Hopefully it'll be sorted out by the time my next Micro rolls around!

Wonderful work as usual.

Cool. It always wigged me out that they had this Conan-like dude on the cover but you never saw him in gameplay. Oh well.
