OSW Update! (End of the TNA arc/what's next!) (Patreon)

Hope you've enjoyed the 3 big vids over the last month, super happy to finalise and release over 8.5 hours of content!

OSW WMXL Night 1 & Night 2: I really did try to make this one video but at over 4.5 hours all in, hope you preferred it as a two-fer? Also my beefy editing rig gives out to me whenever I start approaching 3 hours so best split 'em up for my sanity too! The extra week between releases was just enough production time to get a McKodem animation done, and also give the talented NiesTimes a bit of room to edit some flash music sequences (eg Rock/Cena). As u can see there was also some Creed I wanted to include but couldn't due to copyright - but you can see the Reigns/Seth one here, and the Taker/Rock one here!

OSW Elden Ring: Duuuude the largest video we ever made! Clocked in at almost 4 hours. Doing a deep dive on was OOC's idea, as before recording OSW he'd update us on his souls-experience (he's played over 2 dozen of them in his spare time!). V1 had been playing it and OOC (after months of asking) got me to play my first souls-like, so it was a nice perspective of three different levels of fandom.

I'm real happy that a few of ye copped that us mentioning Elden Ring a few times over the last few episodes indicated that something was coming based on it! OOC mentioned getting ready to play it on our Crash 1 review (noggerU link)

We recorded our Elden Ring review in February (for release in June) making it the shortest production time of any OSW Deep Dive. Uncharacteristically, most of the Deep Dive was edited solely by me, as I usually work off another editor's cut (meaning the final video is our combined talent/ideas) but since the discussion is SO specific, editors needed to be extremely familiar with the game. So I called on Momoka (who was already replaying it for the DLC) and she did the entire Chapter 2 Bosses section! So the jump in editing quality is thanks to her 😂 I also found a really cool reddit user (StaggerTime on YouTube) who'd been doing Stagger videos and asked if he could make one for the Deep Dive. Artwork and animation for our Hulk/Malenia/Hulkalenia intro was by longtime collaborators Donald Kirby and Dylan Day, and the orchestral hogan theme was an excerpt from wrestling/videogame composer JD Spears's musical journey of the Rock (highly recommend giving it a listen and seeing what songs you recognise!).

It's our 5th Deep Dive, and our first since God of War. I initially paused even playing big games, as these Deep Dives are literally the most complex editing of any OSW production, ever! (I finalised the four 1-hour parts separately, and joined them to upload). I'm quite happy that it's given the other Deep Dives a bump too, esp. The Last of Us 2 which I'm extremely proud of :) My hope is that it reaches over 100,000, we're getting close! If u haven't seen it yet, please give it a honk!

Anyway enough hotdogging, here's what's in the pipeline:
• Final episodes of the TNA MEM arc: JULY will see Victory Road (containing the infamous -5 Star Jenna/Sharmell bout, later in the episode V1 makes us watch a second -5 Star bout to compare)

• AUGUST sees the end of the arc, with TNA Bound for Glory 2009. Since it wraps up the arc I have some special intro and outro segments tying everything up, really happy with how it's coming together.

• After that will be our golden nogger awards show, and then hosts choice (ie myself, v1 and ooc will choose anything to review, and then a fan-voted choice), and after that, we'll start a new arc! Quite excited for these one-offs, they're like our Treehouse of Horror episodes where they're a separate thing unto themselves.

• We're also working on some other videos that I'll tell ya more about when production is further along! I do like surprising ye :)

• Oh! re: the Next Arc: It's one of those things where we get contacted with suggestions for future arcs literally every day (across multiple platforms) which is why I rarely ask for them 😂 Buuut we will be asking for your suggestions soon, when the TNA arc is done! (No sense in making decisions when you're still months away, so it feels fresh for us too!).
