Plans for June (Patreon)

As I mentioned in my last post, I'm moving this month, and between administrative bureaucracy and the actual move being a bit more complicated than a one day affair, I've been in a persistent state of stress which has made it difficult to focus on creative stuff. I've done some spur of the moment things, but nothing that I've felt worth being patreon-only (and usually based on discord jokes or some such). Unfortunately, the apartment move saga is now apparently set to continue into next month, so I'll need to juggle that with figuring out what to do for this month.

So, my current plan is to try to wrap up the rough draft of the Genshin comic I started last year, and if I can, pull together a short story that may or may not be connected to anything else.

A recent new patron reminded me that I've been wanting to go back to the Genshin comic, but Genshin character designs are hard, and perfectionism and general artistic ruts have been the main things holding it back from completion. However, I think, if I allow myself more leeway with the production quality and call it a rough draft with the promise of going back and cleaning things up later, I can push out the remainder in a readable, if not polished state.

Despite trying to do that, I still more or less finished this page at close to the same quality as before (minus the color splashing). I'll give this it's own post once I finish a few more pages, I just don't like posting something, even announcements, that will ping people's inboxes without some kind of content along with it.
