I think Ukraine and Russia are in a stalemate situation, both sides cannot win this war.

A;; battlefields are in a stalemate until one side breaks "out" and changes the conditions of the fight. Both sides have made the open fields into mine fields, eliminating armor as a breakthru tactic. I can see the Ukrainian high tech responses of which drones are only a part. Soon they will field Anti 'radiation' warfare, ie, tracking down missile radars are going to be superceded by tracking internet antennas then destroying them and the local command centers. A rapid 'demining' solution returns the armored units to breakthru (and exploitation) roles in a 'thin' battlefield where the Russians have no where to go, with their backs on the Black sea, for the most part. It only takes one big breakthrough and the Russian line will be 'rolled up' fast. They're designing that battle now for the end of Rasputitsa (or the mud season of Spring). Stay tuned, it will be precise, fast and devastating.
