No Post Today (Patreon)

The wife and daughter went out of state to visit with family for a week during the Thanksgiving holiday. Apparently they brought a friend home.  They were both sick the past week or so and…me being one of those ’never gets sick’ kinda guys…it didn’t catch up to me until Wednesday.  Just your standard cold/flu (not COVID), but (pardon the expression) it absolutely knocked my dick in the dirt. I didn't get out of bed all day yesterday and I doubt very seriously anything will change today.  Art stuff or story writing?  Yeah, no…that’s not gonna happen.

Day 3, having missed two days of (real) work,  and still in bed for the most part.  At least the river of snot seems to have subsided.  Still feel like absolute garbage though.  Nevertheless, thanks to all of the well-wishers the past couple of days.

Day 5, maybe?  I forget.  I actually got out of the house for the first time Sunday night...and it immediately started raining and went back inside.  I still don't feel 100%...call it 70%...but I don't have to go back to (real) work until Tuesday.  Yesterday evening was also the first time I could actually put complete thoughts to keyboard and mouse, so to speak.  I wasn't going to publish my x-mas piece until next Monday, but I felt so bad for not posting anything this past Friday that...  Well, you'll see.  :D
