Gagala's account was suspended yesterday.

Please see the attached pdf.  This was the message he attempted to send out yesterday, but required a login and pw (which most people didn't have).

His site is still up and running.

He is currently looking for other options, but as a stopgap measure he has opened an account on buymeacoffee, which serves as both a membership site and a tip jar.

G has also opened an account on SubscribeStar.

This is sad and seems so unfair. I saw that he sent a message out but without access to his password posts I can't log into his site. I really hope Pateron see sense.

Yeah, I suggested SS to him...I've had a (just in case) backup account there for years. Fanbox can be kind of a minefield...weird Japanese laws.

What few supports I have on there (literally, 2 of them), told them that starting tomorrow I'm going to post simultaneously to on Patreon and SS. The posting "interface" there isn't as refined as Patreon's, but... Yeah, the bullshit level (or lack there of) there is starting outweigh the usability.

Ehhh, I tried etsy years and years ago, but i was pretty limited to stickers and whatnot. Between printing and shipping costs my profit was measured in pennies....the hassle just wasn't worth all of the effort. Then again, I didn't have the 'name recognition' that I have now.

I've had moderate to good profits there, albeit I have had to invest in a small proper 3d print shop for figurines and cosplay items/decorations.

That sucks for the G-man. It's a good thing he has you to help or he'd be screwed royally. Do we know what or why they have issue with him after all these years? Please let him know we're still here for him we just need to know where he lands.

'Glorification of sexual violence'...of which 'intimate inter-family relationships' and 'sexualized minors' are lumped under. With the number of creators that patreon has now (compared to when I got suspended five years ago) I doubt very seriously they have the time or the resources to go witch hunting, relying mostly upon inappropriate text algorithms or (the more likely scenario) individuals reporting them.

Well that's certainly bullshit censorship because he's been on there a long time now for them to be saying something now, so yeah I think someone started whining, or was jealous of his work, or he pissed somebody off, or it was just an internet asshole troll or some "Karen" got her knickers in a twist after getting her sensibilities offended. Yeah I think lumping those categories together is BS too, but even if they were separate, I'm sure if someone reported it they'd do the same thing. The thing I don't get is, if you're going to be offended or report it why become a patron in the first place, because you have to join in order to unlock the pages in the first place. I wish I could help G some how but I'm not internet or computer savvy and I ain't rich so the only thing I can do is be a patron and sympathetic friendly supporter. I am glad he's got you to help him, because I'm not an artist so I wouldn't have the slightest clue how to help him. So kudos to you my friend for taking the to help even though I know you don't have a whole lot to spare. In the meantime I hope all is going well with you and the daily grind is not taking more than it's usual toll. MiL broke her hip and now at 97 she is laid up for two months, if it heals right, so she is dependent on us for two months which means we ain't doing nothing but taking care of her and she's in a pissy mood and it's driving wifey crazy because MiL is also going deaf as well as getting dementia. So fun times ahead. In the meantime how are you and your family doing, has any of the crazy wet/cold weather reached your part of the state or are you too far south for it? Anyway with your content and G's being so similar do you have an alternate subscription place for your work in case they come after you too?

Other than the flu going around, the wife getting, giving it to me, being down for six days, and missing three days of work...life is...meh. Now if I can just get rid of this damned cough, life'd be peachy. Other than that, real work is....still the best job I ever had (to paraphrase Fury). Three days and all of the old jobs would be losing their minds, pissed off, et al. This job, however...."See you when you feel better"...and that's it. Most, to include include my boss(es) and the owner(s) were surprised when I can back after three days. Whole different culture there. As for Gagala's why's and who's for getting suspended....I have no idea. You don't have to be a supporter to report a post...even non-sup's and non-followers can report literally any post, even the pubic 'teaser' one. So, yeah, it literally could be anyone for any reason.

Well I'm glad the new job turned out to such a good one, you're headed for the tail end of the job life grind, it's good to be treated as an employee and not a whipping post, eh? As for the G-man I'm sure it was some paper skinned whiner with nothing else better to do than be offended by something that they have nothing to do with, because the alternative is that they are picking on the G-man personally and that ain't cool. The man is just trying to make a living doing what he's good at, art. Any rate I hope he lands on his feet now that Buymeacoffee has given him the Green Light. You continue to get better and we'll type again soon enough.
