Betty Boop's play on Marilyn Monroe's iconic subway grating scene from 'The Seven Year Itch' (1955)...but with a little more cleavage.  You're welcome.  :D

Unknown to most people, most of the famous photos of Monroe in her blowing white dress are actually from a publicity stunt / photo-op for the movie.  Filming details were 'leaked' to the press and before they knew it, some 3000 people descended upon the corner of Manhattan's Lexington Ave and 52nd St in September 1954.  The scene from the movie was initially filmed at the Manhattan location, but the footage was later deemed unusable and/or unsuitable...it never would have gotten past the MPAA censors.  The watered-down, from-the-thighs-down scene that you see in the film was shot on a Hollywood sound stage.

And all this time I thought it had stemmed from the happy accident of her standing on the crate as the subway train went by and they decided to put it in the movie. Where do you find all these obscure fun facts, it must take quite a bit of research time.
