Weeks have passed since Jane inquired as to Elroy's various Space Cub pursuits, the entirety of most of her afternoons thereafter spent being his practice dummy. Simple overhand and slip knots at first...simple enough to free herself if necessary, but still allow Elroy to take full advantage of her 'helplessness'. Secured to a headboard or tied to a dining room chair, he'd either send her into a screaming frenzy...or simply leave her there for hours to ponder her thoughts.

Now, however, the young man having far exceeded the basic requirements of his merit badge, she often finds herself truly powerless to escape. Without help, there is no way she'd be able to free herself from her bonds.

George, out of the house since that morning for eighteen holes at the Orbit City Golf Club with Mr. Spacely...followed by several rounds of drinks at the clubhouse...won't be home until later that evening. Judy, having left as soon as she saw the ropes come out...and not caring to be hogtied across the living room coffee table -again-...decides to take in an afternoon matinee and then some boy-watching at the Spaceburger Drive-In with her friends. Rosie, however, is out for her usual Saturday afternoon shopping and is due home at any moment.
