A detailed buildup to something "more" (and tempted to bump up subscription). But those aside - I was trying to picture the actual painting process. The body is painted and then the model imprints a canvas - or models, if the actually act of coupling is captured? Or am I picturing this incorrectly? Art can be a fickle thing - at times.

I was picturing them smearing the paint all over the canvas and each other while they were intimate, with the resulting photographs accompanying the chaotic painting for context. Sort of like "here's this smeared canvas and how we achieved it through sex". The previous pieces (like she shows the Listener pictures of) were the basic "press your genitals into the canvas" style but the centerpiece was intended to be messy and chaotic because it was supposed to represent love in the present and how crazy and passionate it can be. I can see it in my mind but I'm not sure I'm coherently translating it into words. It was also intended to just be some silly messy fun hookup, but yeah, that's how I was seeing it as I wrote. :)
