Rebranding of Patreon (Patreon)

Hey everybody! I hope you're having a good day.

In our continued efforts to try to achieve more funding for our projects we're going to be rebranding the Patreon and our tiers to match our new  strategy.

What does this mean if I'm currently supporting?

You'll still be able to support at your current tier and won't be forced to move over to the new tiers. All of the current tiers will become Legacy tiers and it just means no new users will be able to subscribe to the tiers. (You all get a little piece of history :D)

Will the new tiers be cheaper or more expensive than the current ones?

That's something that we're working out now in an effort to make our mid grade and high grade tiers more attractive for long term support I'll be updating you soon.

What does this mean for Melting Point?

Melting Point isn't going anywhere it's still going to be worked on. Our main reason for doing this rebranding is to be able to release other smaller projects while we continue work on Melting Point, without confusing new supporters when they reach our pages.

Will these smaller projects slow the production of Melting Point?

No not at all! The biggest thing slowing the production of Melting Point currently is the fact we're not able to work on the project full time (we still have to pay the internet bill lol). These smaller projects we currently have planned, actually will make use of functions we have planned for Melting Point in the future so we're knocking out two birds with one stone!
