Hello Patreon brains! Was wondering if you'd like to see stuff that doesn't make it into the episodes posted here -- for example, outtakes, questions from the Newlywed game that were too long to include in the episode, full interviews when I do a shorter cut on the channel, etc. It'll be rough cuts since our focus is going to remain on producing videos that will reach and help ADHDers through the channel, but we always have extra content we can share if you like! Let us know!

Yes indeed! PS Loved the interplay between you and Edward during Newlywed Game. You appear to be a good match. My sweetie, who doesn't have ADHD, also loves your videos and has learned more about me while watching. Thanks, Jessica!

Why is this even a question? 🙂

Anonymous

Great idea, it would be fun to watch !!!!!!

No, I would absolutely hate the special perk of being able to see things that other Brains don't get to see ...... SAID NO PATREON BRAIN EVER!

Anonymous

Yes please :-D By the way, when is the next live meeting?

Anonymous

Yes of course, would love that!

How to ADHD

Lol cause I don't want to spam you guys, we ADHDers deal with enough distractions as it is -- and also probably (mainly) because the perfectionist in me is nervous about putting up unpolished material and I wanna make sure if I do it, people actually want to see it *and* know it won't be perfect. I'd be putting this material up myself, without Edward's shine on it.

How to ADHD

Aww thanks, we think so! I'm really curious, how does your spouse handle your ADHD?

The more I can get from you, the better! :)

I always want to see you more ;)

I think seeing outtakes would be fun.

That would be fun, but you guys are already so busy producing the episodes, that I'd be concerned about the extra pressure it would apply. :)

How to ADHD

The tricky part lately has been post production, Edward's schedule is making it challenging for him to get to the videos -- these would be rough clips I could post myself :)

Then, by all means, it would be extremely fun to watch them. Hope to chat soon about a limited version of what we discussed. :)

not more distraction then the usual checking of the site every minute to see if there is new contend ;-)

Posed that question to my Sweetie (who's not my husband) but we've been together 7 years. His response "with humor, understanding and compassion." I was only diagnosed 3 years ago so we've learned to deal with this together. He's great at bringing my focus back in line with whatever we're doing when needed. Other times he goes with the flow, when I'm on a roll of distracted thoughts, just smiles and laughs. He says most of time all I need are gentle reminders, which I don't mind, and other times I need more of a shove. If I put up a fuss it generally means I'm avoiding doing something that needs to be done. (And often, he's right.) I think one thing that bothers him most is my fidgetyness when we're talking. I tend to unconsciously fidget with my hands, like sorting junk mail (big no-no.) Sounds like I need a fidget cube doesn't it? Thanks for asking; looking forward to next video.
