1) thank you for this list. Purchasing some soon. 2) I was recommended a book from someone who is a therapist but also believes in ultimately coming off medication & wanted to get other’s advice since I do not hold that view as an ultimate goal. I was recommended Scattered Minds: The Origins and Healing of Attention Deficit Disorder by Gabor Maté

How to ADHD

If you do read it, let us know what you think about it! We have heard Gabor's name quite a few times pertaining to ADHD. We personally believe medication should be the patient's choice, and so far we've not heard of any scientific evidence for "healing" ADHD (coping with it, yes, actually healing it, no). But if you do choose to read Gabor's book we would love to hear your take on it! Because sometimes we may not agree with someone's belief, but they may still hold some nuggets of wisdom that we can learn from.

Do you have affiliate links for the channel for these books at all? I want to make sure to support the channel if I can.

How to ADHD

We do not, so please feel free to grab any of the books that interested you. Though thank you so much for asking! Just knowing you thought of us and wanted to support us in this way means a lot to us 🧡 What book(s) are you interested in? (If you want to share that is!) - Harley, Community Manager

I was looking at Bird by Bird actually.

Nora Gainey

None of them is about ADHD and women. I haven't found that great book on that though there are some good ones, there hasn't been a favourite one yet. My favourite boundaries book is an old one 'when I say no I feel guilty because it takes me step by step without boring the bejeebers out of me. Answers to Distractions I have read and reread.
