The Discord revamp is officially...vamped, and Harley Bear (our illustrious community manager) and I decided it's time to show Patreon a little love. We have plans to revamp Patreon as well, but in the meantime we've updated our tiers so people know what to expect currently.

I’m worried that maybe I’m missing something obvious but vital… I’m a “Tip Jar” tier patron (it says that comes with Discord access), but when I click on the Discord link it says I don’t have access? What to do? (I’m a serious discord n00b!)

Hi I've been trying to get on the discord for nearly a year now, I've sent multiple messages and never got a response. My discord email is different from what I have registered on here.

I had the same problem. If you go to your My Membership page on patreon, there is a link that says Connect Discord and then you have to allow patreon to access discord and log in I think. Then when you open discord it will be one of the little circles on the sidebar

Did you link your current discord account in your "profile settings" on here? It should auto-join you if it is linked.

Have you linked your discord account on here under "Connected Apps" in "My Profile Settings"? It will then auto-join you.

Ya thanks I’ll try it but I’ve never had to jump through these kinds of hoops before, for the games and groups, the ADHD subreddit, etc. I spend a lot of time on Discord, it’s always signed in. I hope my phone remembers my sign in info. But really Patreon you could make this a seamless addition.

I've tried in vain to log into the Discord too. I've connected my Patreon to my Discord (and the ADHD Alien channel showed up immediately on my Discord) but I don't see the How to ADHD channel, plus I don't see the Connect to Discord button in my membership here like I do in my ADHD Alien membership. I'm contributing at the Behind the Brains ($5) level, which says it provides access to the Discord channel. Anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I don't think you're doing anything wrong, I think the patreon is messed up. The Discord link does not appear on the $10 level either.

How do I get access to the discord channel? I have connected my discord to my patreon account and keep getting the "you don't have access" message

Hi ! Same problem here: despite my patreon and discord accounts being connected, I can't access the discord channel. I've gone through the different steps detailed in the support page, as well as what was detailed in an old video published on patreon. The integration might not be properly set up...
