Thank you very much. This was very helpful. My daughter and I both deal with ADHD. She uses stimulant+straterra; I'm a new diagnosis and am just using straterra, and am still waiting for it to kick in (I'm about 4 weeks in and am seeing limited results). I know a) for my weight, I may need to titrate up (with my doctor's blessing of course) and b) straterra seems to take awhile to reach full efficacy. It was good to see the different meds out there and know that yes, I need my meds. Thanks again!

I was mismedicated for decades on the wrong dose of Adderall it’s long story but it’s important I read one doctor say for inattentive type it’s low low doses I overcompensated due to Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria the doctor gave me his job to do & I got it wrong when I told my mother that I had to stop the medication she had attaxaphobia now treated & with my RSD & Auditory Processing Disorder when she yelled at me it stuck I took one more 20mg Adderall TID & became a drone like I only organically have a long term memory after that point it was like living without a long term memory just medium & short by the medication I didn’t like the drugs but the drugs liked me it took 6 months to turn into Gone & I couldn’t tell my doctor because I fucked up at his job & no one ever got it right for so many years it’s a long story the right dose is 12.5mg of Adderall it’s better for me than Dextroamphetamine alone & I’m fine now we’ll now I’m abandoned by my doctor but eventually I’ll be treated I wish he had titrâtes me slowly to begin with so that we got it right instead of telling me to go home & turn into being treated when I have never known what that’s like why would I break the pills up so small to make 12.5mg I didn’t know to do that. They don’t send diabetics home with syringes & pills & say turn into being treated & they don’t do that fir eye glasses here just go home with all these glasses & figure it out. Nope they don’t. And depression when you have never been treated right fir ADHD it just seems like you ADHD medication doesn’t work I really didn’t know what to do People need to be warned of that because other people without ADHD would obviously be suffering if they had depression I mean I hope someone would know but it’s not as easy with ADHD ok I have to go now. I could say more.
