Glad you are ok!! Went to my first adults with autism peer support happy hour this week and it was so awesome. I was nothing like what I imagined, especially since it was held in a quite, chill bar with couches. The people were also fabulous and the coordinator was very welcoming.

How funny that hyper focus can kick in, and yes good job to the police. They do not a lot of atta boys. They mostly get the Oh S&amp;^%#. My Dad told my one grown boy who is also a brain that analogy. You can do 3 atta boys and the Ahhh S*&amp;s seems to overshadow. He is Military, so everything from laundry to dishes must be a certain way for him. He is a very loving good Father, and he was trying to help Eric. I had to let my son know your atta boys do not go away because of even a HUGE ADHD mistake. We all must get our natural consequences because ADHD in my opinion is an explanation and truth , but life does not allow it to be an excuse. That is what we have our friends for:) To help us jump fences. You are so super honest with your supporters, and that is unique and super cool. So glad you are O.K.
