Day 110 — Success Feels Weird.

Congratulations on becoming successful. It just shows you that anything is possible, even when you doubt yourself. Never box yourself into thinking you cannot do or be something. There are people that believed in you even when you doubted yourself. However, you reached out for support (i.e. Quarters) for help. I have watched you go down this path and think that it is great that you still are humble and greatful for things. Think about the first (missing, it is a joke) episode and where you are today. Your impulsivity started you down this path. I hope that everyone learns from your experiences and realizes that they can be successful too. The best part is that your journey is just beginning! I thank everyone one that has helped supported her over the years.

Nothing like that moment when you realize in yourself that you truly are in that better place that you never thought possible. Congrats.

It .. can be really hard to accept some of the things that comes with success. I know people that have really high paying jobs, and are really successful, but for some reason will do things like stay in hostels - despite everyone at work telling them they don't have to. You're not alone! Congrats on your success!

I apologize for forgetting to mention Edward who supported you, helped you and became a member of the tribe. I tip my hat to Edward and everyone that has worked hard behind the scenes to make HowToADHD and you become successful. It is truly has been a remarkable journey.

How to ADHD

Aww I can’t believe you remember the first episode ☺️ Edward dug it up again recently so it definitely exists. I wonder when I should post it. Thank you so much for believing in me before I did.

How to ADHD

Haha yeah I can totally relate to that, some days I see ramen on sale and I’m like “ooo I should stock up!”

How to ADHD

Aw you’ve always been so great about including Edward, it’s wonderful and much appreciated. The channel is definitely my baby but Edward’s helped more and more over time & is now in an awkward position of being half the channel at this point but not getting much recognition.

How to ADHD

Same! I’m connecting with Lydia to see if I can help spread the word whenever there’s legislation or a petition or something that would benefit or hurt neurodivergent brains

How to ADHD

^^so much this 😁 I feel like I’m on the other side of the looking glass, realizing I was fine all along.

I just remember you talking about it. Something about a hotel hallway in Las Vegas. I consider it the "lost" episode. It never got posted, but I know that feeling when you decide to do something and start doing it and your self esteem issues are screaming no. A lot of the early episodes are ones I can relate to a lot. Especially "am I a failure" and your tribute to your mother is beautiful. It also may have been the timing when I found your channel that got me to. I am glad there is a resource for people to go to and realize that here are indeed special in there own special way.

Just to clarify, I can remember that but I can miss a meeting were my cell phone alarms me 5 minutes before the meeting.

I know that feeling of feeling like you are always going to be in this one place forever and then something changes. You turn a corner in your life and make a big positive change and then it's like holy moly. I turned a very important corner the other day.
