And THIS, is why ADHD gets expensive... lol so relatable!

YES. This weekend I did everything on the checklist... except "pack son's bag" was just one item. It needed to be like... a dozen. Because I forgot his medication the first time, had to go BACK home and get it, making us later than I wanted to catch the ferry (still on time, but I like being EARLY), got there to realize I'd taken off my purse when I went back into the house, and grabbed my backpack...WITHOUT MY PURSE. Fortunately I had an account with the ferry service as was able to log into my phone, update my information (but fortunately the credit card number was still the same one) and buy a few passes.... but they took forever to download and I was nearly crying from the stress by the time we walked up the loading bridge :,( So CHECKLISTS, FTW. And good luck getting those keys out. Backup sets (multiple :/) are an ADHD'rs best friend.

This is SO relatable!!! I think that was brilliant problem solving, to the situation. I also appreciate I'm not the only one who uses their trunk as a storage facility. ADHD is expensive for these reasons, which is why my yearly AAA membership ended up being cheaper, than how many times I have to call a locksmith, etc, lol. I lock my keys in the card A LOT. I have put one of those hidden keys on my car, but then sometimes I forget to put it back after I use it...so that's not always reliable. AAA is my rescuer really frequently.

Omg.. I just did this maybe a week or so ago! I'm usually pretty good about these kinds of things but the brain was whirling a million miles a minute, going over my "list" in my head as I put my parishable groceries in the trunk, dropped keys as I arranged items, then closed Trunk.... Now mind you, of course a short trip to Market, no need for phone right? Yeah... That was fun!
