RIP Cintiq (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

First of all, thank you for your support and sticking with me.  As some of you know, at the moment I've been very busy making the booklet for the Pitaket on the 17th of July. A lot of thought and energy is going into the pages, as I'd like to have some character explanations and lore explained in a few yonkoma and illustrations.

Next to that, I've got a few commissions in, as well as I'm working on the illustrations intended for Patreon/Fanbox (the comic is a little delayed due to the book).

However -it was already looming a little the past week, but finally my trusty tablet gave out... The tablet would shut itself down randomly, would mess up other USB ports and so on, but one evening it just simply refused to start up again.

It was a Wacom Cintiq 21UX. Big, very heavy, solid, but also very very old. Not the greatest resolution, iffy backlight and the original stand also collapsed about a year ago (metal fatigue).

Now, I figured ordering a replacement (or rather improvement), would be less trouble and less costly than sending it off to a repair shop, so now I'm waiting for that to arrive. The defunct tablet will probably be charitably donated to the local recycling ojisan who rolls around in his little truck every now and then.

For now, it's all about preparing for the new tablet to arrive. Contemplate lore, set up illustrations/pages and stuff, but no output. It'll have to wait... Hopefully I can do some stuff in the weekend!
