Chapter - 12: Typhon vs Rose part -3

-----------

There were obvious differences between us. I was physically superior and she had technical superiority alongside superior combat experience. Which is what allowed her to tilt her head just a fraction out of the way of my spiked ball-like punch.

Rose dodged my blow with almost feline grace, slipping under my blow and diving forward under your guard. She staggered backward when I gave her a solid shoulder strike.

At the same moment she hooked her foot behind my knee and pulled it, causing me to stumble forward on one knee. I saw her fist just before she was about to strike, my hand snapped upward to deflect above my head, and she was not done yet.

I dodged his attack by tilting my head to the side to avoid her consecutive knee strikes. Her pink lips curl into a grin as he sees my unconscious action.

I barely had time to react as she attacked again, unleashing a barrage of blows that caused me to stagger back slightly, mainly because of the gravity device I was wearing at the time that greatly restricted my movements.

Of course, her physical strength was in no way up to the task and I seriously doubt that somehow he could even hurt me and I took a moment of one of her lagging knee strikes to fall further to the ground.

It's almost as if she knew what I was going to do before I did it.... And if I was not mistaken, she also possessed some form of precognition.

If she wants to play that game, well, so can I. As I retreated backward, I used my back foot to tap hard on the floor which was shaking a lot making Rose's body stagger accordingly.

At that moment I supported my body with one hand and swept Rose's supporting leg away. My foot hit her leg, but the blow that should have at least broken some bones in the process never occurred as she rolled with the force and let her balance be taken out from under her and tried to mitigate as much as possible the attack she suffered.

I watched in frustration as she spun in midair before she exploded into action, pushing me up and slamming a fist into her. She took the blow but not solidly as she mitigated the damage done.

I growled, slightly in response and pushed with even more force than before. Rose exploded with force without any fear of being somehow injured and spun in midair before correcting herself and landing, but still, she slid away as her boots struggled to gain traction as she blew out the momentum of my fist.

When she finally stopped, she was curved a bit with a pained but still mocking smile. I had caught her in the stomach - part of me said she must be dead, but she still seemed quite lively.

But I knew how bullshit the so-called humans in DC were. *Batman* Could survive staggering levels of physical damage and she as someone supposedly trained by Slade from childhood, Rose should not be too far behind him. Though at a level obviously slightly below him.

There is no human being who has more stamina than Batman, after all. I seriously doubt there was any human being stronger than him in this entire universe.

"You hit like a damn truck, Typhon, and I'd know what that feels like," she sucked in before hissing at whatever sensation he gave her. She cradled her stomach after saying this and I frowned. She could no longer fight, at least not at full strength without some rest.

But I did not care, my mind had become even colder as my field of vision was completely red and I focused only on the lens in front of me.

I took a step toward her. My rational mind begged to stop: she was injured, she could no longer fight. But my Saiyan side sneered, spat on the feeling in question, and told me that she had more fight in her than she was really showing right now and that I had to....

So, lost in battle lust and adrenaline, I charged her with a great monstrous roar that might be very familiar to some.

Her eyes took on a glint of some kind as she gave me a tiny little smirk, but I ignored it and sent a fist at her. She dodged it easily and came back with a stronger contact than she had received up to that point. She hit the underside of my chin with a loud, meaty thud.

She shook my head upward slightly, but I did not let that stop me and with a wild grin I thrust my head forward, regardless of how her pushed her fist against my chin.

She was stunned by this feat as I grabbed her arm and hit her in the stomach a second time, followed by a second punch aimed at her face. She struck but her face rolled with her fist to try to mitigate the damage and she immediately responded with her foot coming up and hitting the side of my head, right on the side of my ear.

I felt momentarily dizzy but recovered almost instantly.... *I was really enjoying myself* A second kick hit the same spot before a palm strike to my arm left it strangely numb. Rose escaped my grip on her  arm like a little cat that didn't want to get caught.

I had mistakenly thought that I felt alive when I was training, when I was getting stronger. How wrong I was... At that moment, I felt as if every cell in my body was burning and asking me to fight forever in an endless battle.

My whole being felt *on fire*. It took all the willpower I had not to use Ki during the fight, and that too because I knew it wouldn't be so much fun if I did and more importantly I would put Rose in grave danger.

This fight was on par only because of the device that increased my gravity and greatly restricted my movements, and as a result my attacks were also much weaker and did not pose much of a problem for her since she was able to dodge with ease.

Of course, Rose was also holding back. This, I could see clearly. She was not even the full extent of her martial arts knowledge/techniques. From what I remember correctly she was an expert with weapons. But at that moment it was fine. It made it more fun for us!

So focused on the fight, I had not noticed a Ki signature enter the room until they were right next to me and their hand was on my shoulder. My head shot in their direction and I saw Gilotina. I thought she was going to stop me and almost roared with anger at such a thought....

I wanted to fight and fight and fight and fight again as long as my body would allow me until Rose would beg for mercy or she could no longer fight....

But then she smiled and asked something I had heard, "Do you want to test your courage against me, Typhon?" My potential anger disappeared. In its place was just pure, raw fun.

'Who would say no to a fight!’ My smile split my face in half as it stretched as far as it could. I ignored everything as I threw a punch toward the tanned warrior beauty in front of me.
