I worked at a D&D in upstate NY from 15-16. This is in the early 90's. Different places were franchises or owned by "corporate", and some made the product in house, and most got delivery from those, sort of a hub/spoke system. The place I worked at made them. The guy making the donuts was not as fun as the commercial implied. That's like a 4am start kind of job, and not a whole lot of upward mobility. Those shops made excellent product. That was also at the tail end of smoking inside, so it was a scene. I once helped make the donuts, and did the vanilla cream ones, which were my favorite. I'm sure they have auto-injectors now, but back then it was like that pastry chef big cone filled with cream, and you had to do it by feel. Well, let's just say the tray was bending from the weight, and since they weren't fit to sell I got to take them home. I was also a husky child, so this was not a problem for me. Needed utensils to eat them because of the creme overload. Anyway, I've been in NYC since college. The quality difference between upstate and NYC is just shocking. Sandwiches and bagels upstate were quite good. Complete garbage here, or at least inconsistent. Then we should all remember the rat videos from a few years back over on 8th ave. Yada yada, coffee only, and only if there's nothing else on the way to the subway.

8% annual returns is the market. Just buy ETFs like SPY and QQQ. Or just throw a shit load into apple and hold onto that for 15 years. ORRR go all in on shroom stocks since the whole country will be legalizing it in the next 5-10 years
