I've come across a plugin that will allow me to add as many frames as I want to overworld walking sprites to give Chie a much more smoother look whenever she walks.

In the previous version (Esthe Hunter) when Chie would be defeated by the special mobs that triggered a Special Game Over scene, I used walking sprites to make a very simple animated sprites if you can remember.

By using this technique Chie's overworld sprite will be slimed, webbed, vored, and it is even possible to create a simple sinking animation when she traverses "The Soft Wasteland"

In the previous version, there was a full on quicksand script that gave smooth gradual sinking as Chie moves, but that is not compatible with RPG Maker MV.

This added frames to walking sprites plugin should help remedy that problem. When Chie walks into a spot that will sink her deeper, she'll pause for a bit while the mud creeps up her body as she sinks and her movement speed will be reduced.

While I tweak with these, the next update will have a full playable mission of trying to capture Silkwurms for the Silken Mask treatment and items that you can collect which are to be premium ingredients for April's Café to allow you to have access to more high quality dishes.

This "Item hunt" will also be useful for Lilly's Boutique to unlock special costumes for Chie as well so keep your eyes peeled for items such as herbs, flowers, and meat that can be collected from slain enemy mobs.

That's really exciting to hear! Will this lead to gameplay stuff like traps that slime/web/vore you?

ho yes ho yes ^^ real time trap with slime and web and vore !!! did you played a game called Codename -Progressive- ? there is a swamp where you can get slimed by walking in bubling area and each time you wlak in you are more and more slimed

omg.... i can't stop thinking about all possibility with this new system ^^ if only i had time to make game like this ;(
