what was truly amazing about glee is how original it was! now any show about singing and dancing have to leave up to glee, and i know the show is not perfect and in 2021 some parts are a little controversial, but it was a fenomen! a worldwide crazy show, they did concert, they had merch, they won many awards, and all those actors were basically unknown before this... i think the real magic with glee is that the show runner/actors didn't know it could become this huge, they had 13 episodes and didn't know if they were able to do more, they had a lesser budget (it became more expensive after the second part of season 2), no tv show were talking about misfits and embracing that much different types of people at that time! now it seems normal to see characters like kurt, brittany or unique on tv and people like them in real life (thankfully so), but when i first saw glee when i was a teen, that was the first real representation i had of homosexuality, bisexuality, transsexuality, also (less serious) but access to so many new songs i didn't knew, they had iconic guest stars (britney spears hello???), they had singers wanting them to cover their songs bc it would automatically make them chart (the glee cast is top 3 with the most billboard hot 100 entries ever??) the success really was crazy and i don't think you can do it again imo

I love this show!! But its not like glee, like they dont sing at all....
