Season 2 Rachel is Rachel at her worst IMO. I do think she gets much better. She’s very insecure and uses her talent as a shield, but at her core, she probably thinks she doesn’t deserve love and uses her talent as a way to get adoration. I don’t know why people always insist Rachel is in the right and never learns when she learned a lesson at the end of this very episode. Again, I’m a Rachel fan, but not really moreso than I am a fan of Santana. I just find Rachel to be a very sympathetic character. And I think her and Finn are really good for each other. Regarding her performance of Hit Me Baby, One More Time, of course Glee was going to give this performance to the leading role. I actually liked this cover well enough, but that’s because I always had a difficult time with Britney Spears vocals on most of her tracks. Rachel can sing, and whenever someone does a cover of a song and they have good vocals, I tend to like it. The dancing was pretty cringy though lol

Exactly!! Season 2 is her worst up until the middle of season 2 then she starts to get good again and yea finn and rachel have their moments but they balance each other out so good,her and jesse are so much alike and jesse would encourage the selfish and narcissistic side of her,while finn won't and plus them being together in real life makes it even better
