It all begins in a small village near the border. Alex is fishing with his childhood friend, Josh, a straight stud whose peasant’s outfit doesn’t leave much to the imagination. Josh recounts the rumors about the One, and the two friends joke with each other about this legendary giver of extraordinary gifts.

The next day, Alex receives an unexpected offer from Imperial College, the finest academy in the land. He says a hasty farewell to Josh and his family, unsure of what awaits him.

When he reaches the town located near the college, he meets Tristan, the Air Knight, a beautiful young man with deep brown eyes and lush brunette hair, whose muscles and curves excite him immediately.

When Alex arrives at the college, he is met with mixed reactions from his fellow students, most of whom are sons of the great houses of the land. Even the faculty seem unsure of how to treat Alex; while Professor Peterson offers him fatherly guidance, Professor Duncan mocks his low-born status.

Noah, a fellow first-year, is from the North Nation, a fierce land full of roving thieves and other dangers. He doesn’t speak much, and his light gray irises, illuminated by candlelight, seem to dance with secrets. Noah saves a lost Alex in the Dark Forest, where a boy named Dolan has led him and left him. In the course of the rescue, Alex discovers that Noah has a superpower, a secret that he has borne since the age of 10. Alex vows to protect Noah’s secret, which ignites a special bond between these beautiful young men...

Tristan, who does not attend the college, nevertheless often comes to visit Alex. In addition to helping him against Dolan and some other hostile boys, he and Alex develop a “whirlwind” romance that starts like a clap of thunder and threatens to carry Alex away like a gust of wind.

As Alex, Tristan, and the others continue to explore their world, a universe full of mystery, magic, and mayhem, the boys of Imperial College get into more mischief during a late night of trading stories. They share the legend that the Dean of Imperial College, a renowned scholar of the old ways, possesses a stone with special properties - that it will reveal the identity of the One, the fabled hero who will bring the kingdoms into a time of great conflict followed by unprecedented prosperity. Though they sneak into the Dean’s office as a boyish prank, what happens that night will forever alter the course of Alex, the other boys, and their world itself. A truth that - confirmed by the Oracle and discovered by the King - will lead Alex and the others to abandon their youthful pursuits entirely as they become the long-prophecied leaders awaited by the people of their lands.

In the midst of such uncertain times, their hormones raging as they struggle to conquer their insecurities and discover their true potentials, the boys form special bonds with each other, with the men of the nearby town, with low-born and high-born alike. Your world is full of men in armor, men in chains, men in the cloaks of magicians - men with special powers who can give pleasure unknown to mere mortals. It is also full of danger, betrayal, and risk, and the combination of those two forces proves to be the greatest aphrodisiac of all.
