"Dust rains down as you open the huge creaking doors. Ancient wood crumbles and webs snap. As your eyes adjust you see a huge throne room in ruin. The stale air fills your lungs. 'Who goes?' A voice echoes through the darkness. You are about to answer as red lights fill the braziers down the hall."

Gunna need a few of the versions. Turns out the local mastermind is a stellar illusionist who made the old throne room (in utter disrepair, he has no use for it) look rather nice and put together for people meeting “his father” when needed. The party might see it one way, then swap to a ruined version. The magic effects could be useful when his sister shows up through a back door to lend some arcanomecanical support in the event of a fight, she was always more an artificer. Now I just need to go look for some good catacombs they might flee to as a part II.....
