YOU CAN KEEP ANY VIDEO PACKAGE FILES YOU MIGHT ALREADY HAVE! THIS UPDATE DOES NOT AFFECT THEM, YOU DON'T NEED TO RE-DOWNLOAD THOSE!

Note before we start: If you have Wicked Whims v170 or later installed and you don't want to bother with installing the CinErotique TV mod framework, you don't have to, as all video package files can now also be viewed straight from Wicked Whims' "Watch Pórn" interaction.

INSTALL GUIDE for version 7.x

First things first, when updating from v6.x, make sure to remove any and all old CinErotique installations from your Mods folder, this includes the old video package files as well! (video package files are the ones that starts with a "TV" in their names - for example: TVcineraw_SD_FM_winter_heat.package is a video package file)

Additionally, if you still have the old "Shop" mod beta, you should remove that as well, as it's now incorporated into the framework. Outdated Shop mod files to look for are: PECO_MOD_CinErotiqueSHOP.package & PECO_MOD_CinErotiqueSHOP.ts4script

BASICALLY, GET RID OF EVERYTHING RELATED TO CINEROTIQUE TV!

If you are a bit sloppy in managing your Mods folder, you can use a batch script I wrote to find any outdated CinErotique mod files that might be left around.
THIS IS COMPLETELY OPTIONAL THOUGH, ONLY USE IT IF YOU WANT TO!

Script is for Windows only, and you should place it in your Mods folder and run it there!

You can find the source code of the script here if you'd like to check first what's in it, but it's just a user friendly "GUI" for a dir search that outputs the results into a txt file for easy reading.

Regular installation steps:

• Download ONE of the frameworks ( !CinErotique_Mod_Framework_v7.X_buildXXX.zip ) from below.

• Unpack it with 7zip or other compatible zip/rar software.

• Copy the resulting "CinErotique" folder straight into your Sims4 "Mods" folder.
  (as it contains a script file, it can't be more than one folder deep)

• It is also recommended to delete the localthumbcache.package file from your "Sims4" folder. Don't worry, it only contains thumbnails, and the game will just re-generate it the next time you run it.

• Done!

Please note: These translations are not made/maintained by me, so if you plan to use one, make sure that it's updated and fits the current mod version, as I can't provide any support for them.

HOW TO ACCESS THE BASE CHANNELS

All pórn channels are locked on all TVs by default (apart from a preview channel), with three possible ways to unlock them...

Option 1.: Pay a §399 one time fee to unlock all Premium Channels on a single TV.
If you're a law abiding simizen, there are simply no other way! The hard working pórnstars of Simsville have bills to pay too, and you, as an upstanding, honest member of your sim community, simply can't bear the thought of them going hungry, just because you want free pórn.
Quick and Easy!

Option 2.: Bah, payment-smayment! You didn't spend 4 years on siM.I.T. university to waste your money on something that you can acquire easily for free. Put that degree in Handiness to the test, and hack your way through, by completing the "Super Reception" upgrade, all you need is your trusty screwdriver and some parts...
Yarr, it's a pirate's life for me!

Option 3.: If you're a rich sim with a large household (and lots of TVs), you might also consider buying the CineSAT™ Satellite Dish or Cable Box - both retailing at §1399 - that after being placed on your home lot, will enable all pórn channels for all TVs.

... either way you chose, all channels are now unlocked, enjoy the show!

RENT PÓRN VIDEOS

To finally bring CinErotique to the 21st Simtury, we decided to upgrade our infrastructure to enable PAY-PER-VIEW streaming of all our content.

This feature is automatically unlocked for every CinErotique subscribers, however, due to the extortionate bandwidth fees VeriCon is charging us, we have to pass some of these costs onto you, our customers, so each rental will require a payment between §25-§50 per watch, based on content style and length.

CinErotique Settings Menu

SET UP PERSONAL WATCH PREFERENCES FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL TV CHANNELS

This feature allows you to assign personal watch preferences for each ingame TV channels (both basic and pórn). Channels can be Liked (x5 watch probability), Disliked (x0.2 watch probability) or Disabled.

Where to find it: Currently active watched channels can be rated from the top of the TV's pie menu by using the "Rate this Channel..." option + there's an in depth picker also available on the second page of the TV's pie menu, called "Set Channel Ratings"; this will let you assign several ratings at one go.

Some notes:
- Channel ratings are done on an individual, per sim basis.
- Liking channels does not mean that the sim will auto choose them every single time, it just means that they will be more likely to choose Liked channels on average.

Cheats: Shift click Sim > Assign Baseline TV  Channel Ratings > Here you can assign likes/dislikes based on some  pre made profiles, or can reset all to default.

CUSTOMIZABLE PERSONAL PÓRN WATCHING PREFERENCES

Accessible through clicking on the active sim and selecting 'CinErotique' from the pie menu.

Sexual Preference: By default, all sims can watch all kinds of pórn, but if you'd like to roleplay, you can set up personal watch preferences for each sim, so they'll only watch certain things on the TV. (for example, a sim with a preference of "No Gay Pórn" will never watch the gay channel on the TV.)

Personality Traits: If you like to really take some sims to the extremes, you can give them either the 'Pórn Maniac' trait - these sims will always choose to watch pórn over anything else -, or give them the 'Virgin Eyes' trait - in which case they will be disgusted by such lowly forms of entertainment of the flesh, and will never stoop so low as to watch it.

Attention Span: Our dear little sims are famously easily distractable creatures, so this new system tries to give you some control over their pórn watching habits by setting them up with a Short, Normal or Long attention spans.

MÁSTURBATE WHILE WATCHING TV

Did you just catch your sim watching the naughty stuff on the TV again?... why not let him/her relieve simselves by having a quick session of "coup de main"... Just click on the sim, and select "Másturbate to TV Pórn".

Note: this feature requires Wicked Whims v170 or later.

SOCIAL INTERACTION: DISCUSS PÓRN FILMS

Your sims can now have a discussion about all the saucy stuff they just saw on the TV. The "Discuss Pórn Films..." social context menu is available while watching any pórn channel, and even shortly after.

"Oooh, did you hear about how CinErotique star Taylor Stiffed just broke up with her boyfriend... again... and wrote a song about it... again! Yeah, tell me about it!"

Available through the computer's 'Order' menu, now you can buy our sexy merch, ranging from special Swag Boxes containing CinErotique themed goodies, Collectible Figurines, and even good old fashioned nudie magazines.

On top of that, Gold Membership Card holders and die hard fans of our network are even eligible for special offers and occasional discounts.

ALWAYS ON DISPLAYS

There are three decorative Always-on Displays available, - Plasmatron, Monolith and a frameless one.
All of them can be configured to show content from a certain channel, they can even be muted if you need it so. They can be bought from Build Mode > Electronics > Misc for §1.

Note that these displays are purely for show, they can not be interacted with by the sims. If you want some that can be watched, then choose the new...

CINEMA DISPLAYS

These Cinema Displays are ideal for cinema builds (duh), as you can just plop them down, and let your simmies flock to see the show.

There are two versions of this screen, one is framed and one is frameless. They are the same size and do the same thing, so it's just about which look you prefer.

They both feature 5 swatches, which represent the playlist they will show. These are:

• All videos - this just plays random videos, like the Shuffle Channel does on the TV.

• Movies - this playlist only includes the videos that are marked as movies.

• Straight / Lesbian / Gay - these are - quite self-explanatory - only play content that are marked as Straight, Lesbian or Gay respectively.

They can be found in Build Buy > Electronics > Televisions > 'CinErotique CINEMA display'

Note: you can not "change the channel" on the cinema screens once they are placed on the lot. If you want to replace them with a different one you have to do it from the Build-Buy menu... They only cost $1 though, so it shouldn't break the bank to do so :)

PS: don't forget, if you don't like the size, you can always just resize object by using the [ and ] keys.

• Removed the Plopsy integration for custom objects. It turned out to be too unreliable, causing LE errors and possibly stuck objects in the inventory.
