Star Wars: Rebels and Clone Wars (Patreon)

About two months ago I got Disney+ in order to watch The Mandalorian. It was awesome and totally worth it. I was originally going to cancel after I had finished The Mandalorian. I ended up enjoying it so much, I decided to try The Clone Wars. It was even better. If you're a big Star Wars fan, Clone Wars was the last project that Lucas was heavily involved in. It connects the prequel trilogy to order 66. This is the seventh and final season. It really explains how Anakin goes from being the chosen one to becoming Darth Vader. Don't be put off by the cartoon format or the fact that it is marketed as a childrens show. It is some of the best Star Wars story telling you will find. I'm now current on the show.

Rebels connects Episode 3 to the Episode 4 (A New Hope). The style of animation is a bit more child oriented in its simplicity. It focuses on a new group of rebels, while weaving in familiar characters: Vader, Princess Leia Organa, Bale Organa and Ahsoka Tano who is a total badass. In combat she comes across as a worthy disciple of Anakin Skywalker. I can't wait to finish the series. It's 4 seasons long and the series is finished.

Some of the best news I've heard recently is that Ahsoka will appear in season 2 of The Mandalorian and that she is to be played by Rosario Dawson. It will be epic! I can't wait.
