DopplerPress's fiftieth Kindle title is Baseball Annie by Angela Rasch. This is the cover I finished yesterday for the book that will be available in a few days.

It's based on a public domain photo I found and required some changes since the uniform in the original is RED but the character in the story plays for the Twins who wear BLUE. LOL.

The little reddish or greenish chips around the blue areas are the result of photo manipulation to change the color.

The font I used has an oblique Baseball connection: it's not Cooperstown (home of the Baseball Hall of Fame) but it is Cooper. :) It's also similar to some of the old-time display fonts used on the covers of various baseball magazines and that's why I chose it.

I love the feminine statement of the long blond hair, the hint from the storyline of the smooth forearms, and the ambiguity of the figure in the photo: strong shoulders, hidden waist, and round little bottom in tight pants. :)

I couldn't have taken a better photo for the cover myself, except I would have made sure the uniform was blue to begin with!
