SUMMARY

Commander Slate has been honourably chosen to lead a military ship that is trialling a new crew structure. Up until now, all spaceships have been maintained by either all-human or all-Ailu't crews. In this first for both species, Slate must keep control of two small armies under one metal roof.

Dr Bonnie had worked extensively with the Ailu’t prior to being selected to be part of the trial crew aboard The Sentinel, and is not remotely concerned for her ability to tend to her patients of both species. Her Ailu’t commander, however, is insistent in getting in her way at every turn.

In this battle of stubborn psychiatrist versus stubborn soldier, it is unclear what the end prize actually is. But neither will back down until they find out. Or until they accidentally fuck. Either way, the feud is on!
