Hello darlings!

With the omegaverse genderbend poll next month, I wanted to give an extra helping hand for your decision with a preview of the two options 😊 These are the first 150 words of each (F/M versions, but there will be F/F and M/M for both)~

Beta Bodyguard

Harald tapped the tip of his blade against Robin’s cheek.

“You know what you’d look good doing?” His voice was a gruff gurgle.

The rope at her wrists wasn’t tight enough to contain her, but she wouldn’t show her cards just yet. Not unless Harald pulled out something much smaller than his dagger, then she would strangle him with his own binds. She was on a roll with attempted murder charges, might as well make it a ritual number.

“Get your mind out of the gutter,” she snarled. “While you’re there you can collect your mother.”

His empty hand clenched and she smirked at him. Daring him to strike her. To mark her perfect omega skin.

The iron door clanked, signalling its unlocking, and the better half of her security detail stepped into the room. William’s face was worn, almost haggard. He’d appeared weary as long as Robin had known

Rent-A-Scent

Elliott existed in everyone’s peripheral. Neither rude nor withdrawn, he somehow managed to perfectly balance attendance with distance. Easy-going but not easily-led. A cardboard cut-out of a perfect person. Now his scent coated River’s neck from jaw to collar bone.

The lecture had begun with an overview of the group projects that would be assigned that day.

Luckily, River knew all the people she had been grouped with. Granted, she made an effort to get to know everyone she came into contact with, and it helped a lot in these situations. River was the only non-dominant at the table. As an omega, people expected her to be shy and timid. It kept people at bay, afraid to approach her and make her uncomfortable, or be seen as the arsehole bothering a poor, weak, defenceless omega. But River was no such thing.
