Well, wow, we've come a looong way.

So... we're in the end game now, Tinky-Winky. The real end game. The war against the Atrekna is virtually over. Simply mopup now. The guns need unloaded, cleaned, and put back in the armory and everyone needs to get their movement orders to go back home.

Which is what we're going to see.

A long time ago I asked if you'd rather do the 80's/90's thing of "the last bullet is fired in the war, the story ends" or if you'd rather have the Lord of Rings, where everyone goes home and you learn that Frodo left for the West due to his injuries, mental, emotional, and physical of the war.

You chose, resoundingly, to have me walk with you to the Shire and then the docks.

Some of our characters are terribly wounded by war. Most of our characters have suffered at minor wounds from it. Not physical. First Contact medicine can scrape you up from a blood smear on the ground. The emotional and mental.

It'll get dark at times, but it'll also be full of joy and relief.

In other news:

The cards are all in. This weekend my wife and daugthers will be doing a mass work on them. I saw that most of you got your issues sorted. Drop it here if you're still having trouble.

I'm mostly recovered from my melt-down. I didn't go full psychotic break, but I came damn close. Swilling Wild Turkey with a cigarette in my mouth isn't the best idea.

I got a Twitter again, and a Facebook again. I'm worse at posting there than I am here. I'm not following anyone, I figure that'll keep me from getting in trouble.

I kind of drop by the Discord channel now and then. I mean, twice in this month so far is a record. Mostly, because I wanna talk about the series.

I can't believe we got here. I can't believe I wrote all this. Sometimes, I'll be reading stuff and not recognize it. Of course, sometimes I sit and watch my fingers move and the words flow onto the screen, and don't even know where it's coming from.

Anyway, I hope that everyone is having a good harvest season.
