Still the End Game, Tinky Winky (Patreon)

So, we're still in the End Game.

Some of the characters finally make sense. Like Crashrunner and his chummers attempting to shut down the ansible for an entire galactic center, in complete opposition of their normal attitudes of "the data must be free."

This month has been birthdays and all of that, really busy here.

On Monday my wife is insisting on the vacation.

I talked her down from two to three weeks to a single week, because the story is starting to exert pressure on the inside of my skull. I plan on going back to 3x a week at first, then 5x a week, so we're back at the steady output.

I decided to hold off on any side stories so people didn't think I was "That Guy" who has this great, epic series, then fucks off to write other stuff and expects everyone to be OK with the fact he left his epic unfinished.

I'll either hold off on them, fold them in as flashbacks, or just jot down some notes and come back later. So far, none of them have made it to notes, so they must not have been that important to put out.

I think it was just the "only writing Mon/Fri" getting to me and I was looking for an excuse to write a little more.

On that, Halloween is around the corner. I'm kind of excited for the "Halloween Ends" movie. I liked Halloween Kills, would have liked it better if Jamie Lee Curtis would have shut the fuck up and stopped talking. Her moralistic preaching about evil and "we are all guilty of it" while I'm watching an unstoppable supernatural powered psychopath kill townspeople got annoying.

No, Jamie, we aren't all guilty. He's just a fucking slasher.

I also cut my hair to about an 1/8th inch and cut off my beard, going clean shaven for the first time in about 5 years.

Damn, I look old.

Which is cool. It beats the alternative.

Still, I've got candy, got the decorations to go up, and can't wait.
