Spring is Coming (Patreon)

So, that happened. Nasty case of a stomach bug, made worse by my meds.

I'm on the mend now. I can actually keep food down (24 hours now) and I don't get dizzy.

I can tell I'm getting older. Used to be I just shrugged stuff like that off in 72 hours and kept right on trucking.

Of course, it didn't help that even though I was sick I had to take care of some stuff. Nothing like pulling the truck over so you can vomit by the side of the road in the ditch, then go back to swilling down gatorade and eating graham crackers so that you aren't dry heaving.

The good thing is, I should be returning to writing Monday or Tuesday.

My fever broke yesterday, and that's the big one. I bounced up to 103.5 several times, and once that happens, for some reason, I get extremely paranoid and delirious.

Oh well.

Things will go back to normal soon enough.
