Merry Christmas Eve (Patreon)

Just a quick note: I hope everyone is having a good holiday and a good night, even if you don't celebrate Christmas.

Even if you're alone, you can still have a good Christmas and Christmas Eve, as long as you're good to yourself.

I still remember getting a small branch and hanging foil strips from an MRE meal on it, calling it a Christmas Tree, and unwrapping an MRE I closed my eyes and grabbed from the box. It wasn't a great Christmas Eve, but you know what, in a weird way, it was kind of a good one even though I was in a single man Forward Observation Point for 15 days with just me, a radio, 2 boxes of MRE's, and my battle rattle.

Oh, and the rain. Can't forget about my friend the rain.

Still, it might color my opinion since I try to be upbeat when I can.
